IT seems folks just can't handle the truth
Today Carla and I discussed depression and during the show I made mention of G-d healing people and someone in the chat room said, you people are dangerous" .. so healing is dangerous?
I would think that was funny if it were not so sad. G-d wants his people well. How can a faith professing believe be of any use to G-d if they are not healthy? How can someone who issick be of any use to themselves, their friends or family? These are questions I have to ask myself when I hear such comments such as" it is G-d's well I am sick , it is a test." That is a lie from the pits of hell and anyone who thinks such nonsense should have their heads examined.
In 2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. I believe that verse is just as viable today as it was when it was written. The verse states that G-d himself has given us sound minds. If we are depressed how can we have a sound mind ? We can't .. we have been given along with salvation everything we need to be productive and useful servants of G-d it is through our faith or believing we take hold of these truths and make them a reality.
1Pe 2:24 Reads Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. When Jesus ( Yeshua ) hung upon that cross or stake of execution he took away not only sins, but also sickness and perpetuated healing.
G-d has not changed his mind. If you notice in that verse it says were healed . huh!! were is in past tense not further so if we were healed than someone or something is lying when we do become ill. Sickness is not of G-d is is from lifestyle and thoughts and sin. We get a symptom and it is up to us as believers to either accept the symptom as being real or reject is as a lie. We have been given free well choice and this pertains to healing as well.
Healing comes when we have faith or the believing to receive it by our faith ; when the woman with the issue of blood received her healing Jesus (Yeshua) said YOUR faith .. he did not say my faith has made you whole. She took the action necessary to receive her healing my touching the hem of his garment. Healing still works by the same principals nothing has changed. It does take believing to operate faith. When a persons receives salvation they have to believe in order to receive that is a principal or law it cannot be broken or changed.

Comment by Monika Woods on August 12, 2008 at 10:51pm - People that want to say "you people are dangerous" are locked in a world of problems that they themselves refuse to ackowledge. They are filled with anger/hurt from the past and usually want someone to break that wall down for them by hurting others until someone reaches out. The only thing we can do is count it all glory for God.
